About the role As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring Parks Victoria meets its statutory, corporate and reporting obligations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position provides specialist technical advice across financial accounting, compliance and reporting, while supporting high-quality month-end and year-end processes. You will prepare and review financial statements, reconcile key balance sheet accounts, analyse variances, and support audits. You'll also contribute to strong financial governance by maintaining the integrity of financial systems and the Chart of Accounts, monitoring changes to accounting standards, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting. About the Team Within Corporate Services division, the Finance and Business Services team provides trusted advice, strong governance and fit-for-purpose financial frameworks that enable our operational teams to deliver impact on the ground.
