About the Role: As the IT Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth running of internal systems and services. You will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and ensure that all systems are optimised for performance, security, and meeting the needs of our Customers and employees. Your leadership will be crucial in driving operational excellence and supporting our growing business needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the IT Operations team responsible for managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment Maintain hands-on technical capability across core enterprise technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, monitoring, and cloud platforms) to guide architectural decisions, support complex incident resolution, and provide effective technical leadership. Oversee and ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT services and infrastructure. Develop and implement IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure high availability and regulatory compliance. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions. Manage IT incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure prompt resolution and minimal disruption. Work closely with other departments to understand business needs and ensure that IT infrastructure supports organisational needs. Contribute to developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans. About You: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in leading a team Demonstrate a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, network management and security protocols. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), Octopus Deploy, SQL Server databases, Microsoft middleware and Powershell scripting is a plus. Strong project management skills and experience handling multiple priorities. Why Join Us?
