Engineering Technician - Mechanical Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team of professionals in the Pilbara region.
You will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality mechanical maintenance and repair of heavy-haul iron ore operations locomotives.
* Conduct scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing utilising standardised work platforms in line with OEM manuals and statutory rail requirements.
* Inspection, refuelling and maintenance associated with Locomotive Preparation.
* Inspect and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and pneumatic subsystems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interpret diagrams and technical manuals, and advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills in diesel engines are essential.
