Occupational Therapist Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering therapeutic occupational therapy interventions, conducting comprehensive functional and mental health assessments, and supporting patient-centred care planning and recovery-oriented discharge pathways.
The Youth Acute Inpatient Unit at Dandenong Hospital is a 25-bed unit providing services to young people aged 16 to 25 years. Our team works collaboratively with families, carers, and community supports to deliver exceptional care.
* Deliver therapeutic occupational therapy interventions to support consumer recovery and well-being
* Conduct comprehensive functional and mental health assessments to inform care planning
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centred care plans
