Our business provides phonics program teaching to Preschoolers and Lower Primary students. The course framework contains but not limited to the following aspects:
* Early reading and writing awareness
* Letters and phoneme (Decodable skills)
* Rhyme and Syllable awareness
* Onset and Rime learning and awareness
* Sight words and spelling
* Word's structure and comprehension skills
* Grammar and Punctuation
Role Description
As demands increasing, we are now recruiting for both English and Math teacher and Public Speaking teacher for younger children. English and Math teacher role: this is a casual/contract on-site role for an experienced Teacher who is able to teach English and Math based on Australian Syllabus. The Public Speaking Teacher role: The teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging and age-appropriate public speaking classes for children, fostering their communication skills, confidence, and self-expression. The ideal candidate will create a supportive and fun learning environment, helping young learners develop effective verbal communication and presentation skills.
Our classroom is conveniently located in Rouse Hill Town Centre.
Qualifications (English and Math)
* Bachelor's degree or above in Education or a related field
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the needs of non-English background students. Lessons material will be provided as well.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Experience teaching English and Math in small class settings.
* Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Flexibility to work after school hours and Sundays
* Attractive hourly rate
Qualifications (Public Speaking teacher)
* Bachelor's degree or above in Education, Communication, or a related field.
* Previous experience working with younger children in an educational or instructional setting.
* Strong public speaking and communication skills.
* Understanding of child development principles.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping children succeed.
* Be able to work after school hours and Sundays
Responsibilities (Public Speaking teacher):
* Curriculum Development:
* Develop a curriculum that aligns with the age and developmental level of younger kids.
* Design creative and interactive lessons to make public speaking concepts accessible and enjoyable for children.
* Classroom Instruction:
* Conduct engaging and dynamic public speaking classes for younger kids.
* Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their speaking abilities.
* Communication Skills Development:
* Focus on building foundational communication skills, including articulation, voice modulation, and effective use of body language.
* Create activities that enhance vocabulary and language development.
* Confidence Building:
* Implement strategies to boost students' self-confidence and overcome public speaking anxiety.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages risk-taking and experimentation.
