About the role
Kick start your career in health with this rewarding role of Leisure and Lifestyle Allied Health Assistant. You’ll play a role in implementing meaningful activities for our residents that relate to their lifespan, interests and preferences while working alongside a fabulous team of health professionals.
Your responsibilities involve:
* Correspondence and document management - including the organisation of various deadlines and communications within a multidisciplinary team.
* Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals
* Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programs
* Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team

Remuneration: $60,747.33 - $68,682.13 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle / Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment) or other relevant qualification
* Demonstrate expert level written and verbal communication skills
* Have the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Show outstanding problem-solving skills with demonstrate ability to take initiative
