Ventia is seeking a MC Driver/Labourer to join the team for remote/rural work in regional NSW on a 21-day on / 7-day off roster. This role involves significant travel and working away from home, with long shift days and living-away-from-home allowances.

About The Role
This role requires travel and working away from home on a 21-day on / 7-day off roster. You'll likely work in rural areas across NSW and be required to work 10–12-hour days. You will receive a generous living-away-from-home allowance while travelling, and work alongside an inclusive site team. Most locations are rural, and many team members use caravans for sleeping as there is not usually local accommodation available. The ideal candidate will enjoy working away in site teams, or be based in regional NSW with the ability to commute to project sites. The position involves assisting in the installation of Optic Fibre cables for the Telstra network on the Inter City Fibre Network (ICF) project.
Responsibilities
Multi-Combination driving
Rod, Rope & Hauling – hauling multiple cables by hand and with machinery, quality checks
Civil activities – repair blockages, operate plant and equipment such as dozer, excavator, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes and HR trucks
Labouring duties – cut and repair fences, undertake excavation using hand and mechanical methods

Operator & VOC Dozer
Pit, Pipe & Cable Hauling course
Current senior first aid certificate
Current level 2 traffic management implementation course
Work safety at heights
Asbestos awareness certificate
High Risk License
Vehicle loading crane
