Your New Role and Responsibilities
These engineering positions will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and intelligence partners to design, implement, and maintain intelligence mission systems.
Our team is instrumental in developing and maintaining innovative technologies that tackle evolving challenges within the intelligence community. Additionally, these roles will focus on designing, integrating, and validating complex tenant environments tailored to specific use cases, supporting critical customer objectives.
As Technical Specialists, Your Weekly Activities May Include
Engineering control – driving efficient engineering and configuration control processes to assure mission system performance and availability.
Software design & build – assisting in the design and implementation of software systems using automation tools and modern DevOps practices.
Data integration – deployment and ongoing operation of data ingestion pipelines and configuration of workflow management systems.
Automation & scripting – developing scripts to provision, configure, and manage systems efficiently and reliably.
Platform operations – helping to monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security.
Deployment & delivery – supporting the creation of CI/CD pipelines, building releases, and enabling smooth delivery of applications and services.
Security & compliance – integrating security best practices into infrastructure workflows, including secrets management, access control, and compliance automation.
Documentation & knowledge sharing – writing clear technical documentation to support operational excellence and team collaboration.
Collaboration – working closely with architects, engineers across disciplines to deliver and improve platform capabilities.
What You'll Bring To Make An Impact
Tertiary qualifications in relevant engineering and/or information technology domains.
Experience in designing, building, and supporting complex IT infrastructure platforms.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies, including Terraform and Ansible, with a focus on repeatability, automation, and version control.
Strong understanding of networking, system integration, cloud-native services, and infrastructure architecture across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of the role, you must be an Australian citizen and hold an active TSPV or NV-2 security clearance with potential uplift to a TSPV clearance, and the ability to be successful for a DISA/OSA.
