Role Overview
Located in Adelaide's Outer Harbor and reporting directly to the Marine Services Team Leader, you will work as part of a team to provide marine services to vessels and undertake maintenance.
12-hour rotating roster consisting of a block of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off. This pattern runs for three blocks, then approximately three blocks off as part of a job share arrangement.
The role is a part-time, 12-month fixed‐term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and operate Flinders Ports launches for pilot transfer, minor maintenance and servicing of main engines and ancillary equipment;
* Prepare statistics and reports of vessel activities and performance;
* Assist with maintenance of port assets as required (i.e. wharf and navigation aids);
* Use oil pollution response equipment as necessary under the direction of Transport SA or Flinders Ports emergency response coordinators.
About You
* Master Class V Certificate of Competency and Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 of Competency;
* Administrative experience and strong computer literacy;
* Ability and experience working both independently and in a team;
* High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve;
* Current Drivers Licence;
* Trade Qualification and/or understanding of Electrical systems highly desirable not essential.
