The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
The Community Dementia Services is part of Primary Health North. This service provides care for clients in the greater Launceston area seven days a week to deliver excellence in healthcare and achieve improved outcomes for our consumers and the Launceston community.
The Role :
Supports the Nurse Unit Manager and the Community Dementia team, including Mayne St Day Centre, in the day-to-day management. Responsibilities include word processing, spreadsheets, database and email services, and maintaining and scheduling appointments in an electronic diary as required.
You will need :
* A sound knowledge of office management principles and the capacity to effectively coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Community Dementia Service office.
* Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* The capacity to organise and prioritise duties and work relatively unsupervised while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and adherence to time frames.
Details of appointment :
Permanent part-time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing from 05 May 2025. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary :
$66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer contributes 11.5% superannuation on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
