About the Role:
Kiddie Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team in Orange, NSW. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of our young learners. This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in their crucial early years.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and lessons aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor your teaching approach
- Building positive relationships with children and families, and actively involving parents in the learning process
- Actively involve parents in their child's learning journey, discuss progress in parent interviews, and contribute to staff and committee meetings.
- Guide and mentor student teachers on placement to help shape the next generation of educators.
- Facilitate language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and group discussions.
· Provide experiences to develop motor skills, confidence, social cooperation, and understanding of the children.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised classroom environment
- Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the centre
- Continuously seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance your teaching practice
What We're Looking For:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- At least a year of demonstrated experience in an early childhood education environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and best practice in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
- A creative, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for nurturing the growth and development of young children

Pay: $72,598.24 – $100,440.08 per year
Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
