3 Month Contract role for an Asset Engineer with a Regional Victorian Council.
Role can be primarily remote with only one day per month required in the office.
Hourly rate is $64 / hour + super.
Employed as an Asset Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Asset capitalisation including managing handover from project managers
* Updating Assetic and assisting GIS team
* Reviewing and managing asset condition assessment data
* Liaison with internal stakeholders across various council departments
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
* A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications
* A Civil Engineer with Asset Management/Planning experience, ideally within a Local Government work environment
* Previous experience in asset capitalisation and reviewing condition assessment data
* A solid understanding of Asset Management principles and best practice
* Proficient with use of Asset Management Systems including Assetic & GIS
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
