Job Description: Disability Support Worker (Australia)
Position Title: Disability Support Worker
Location: Beenleigh x2, GoldCoast x1

Reports To: Operations Manager
About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their personal goals. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each client's needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist clients with daily personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while respecting their dignity and independence.
* Household Tasks: Support clients with household activities such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
* Community Access: Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and community events, promoting engagement and inclusion.
* Health and Safety: Administer medication (if trained) and monitor health conditions as per care plans, ensuring the client's safety at all times.
* Skill Development: Help clients develop life skills, such as cooking, budgeting, or using public transport, to enhance their independence.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client activities, progress, and incidents as required.
* Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to achieve care plan goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
* Current First Aid and CPR certification.
* Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (if applicable).
* Current driver's license and reliable vehicle (if required for the role).
* Experience in disability or community services is highly regarded but not essential.

Pay: $32.88 – $36.15 per hour
