Structural Foreman – Concrete Structures
Are you a proven Structural Foreman with a strong background in concrete structures and a passion for delivering high-quality results?
We are a leading concrete construction company known for professionalism, precision, and teamwork — and we're looking for a motivated Foreman to join our growing team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all site activities on concrete structure projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role suits someone who thrives under pressure, leads from the front, and sets the benchmark for quality and performance on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate trades, labour, materials, and plant.
* Manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Interpret and work confidently from structural and architectural drawings.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to maintain clear communication.
* Ensure buildability, sequencing, and practical site solutions are always front of mind.
* Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve outstanding results.
* Maintain accurate digital reporting and site documentation.
Skills, Tickets & Experience
* Proven experience as a Structural Foreman or Leading Hand in concrete structures (suspended slabs, columns, formwork, etc.).
* Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* Competent with digital tools, reporting systems, and project software.
* Excellent coordination and organisational skills.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance.
* Calm, reliable, and professional under pressure.
* Firm but fair leadership approach with a positive mindset and team-first attitude.
* Must hold a current General Construction Induction competency (White Card)
* A current driver's license
* Responsible for entire build from set out
* Accountable for budget
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to educate & train staff
* Ability to build relationships
* Ensure paperwork & project roll out is acquiescent
* Coordinate daily maintenance of all plant and machinery
* Work with minimal direction - able to read plans and plan your project efficiently
* Adhere to Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems policies and procedures
* You must have a safety-first mindset
* Manage finish to a high standard, including set out laying Reo, steelfixing, formwork & screeding at a commercial level.
* Tradesman - all applicable tickets
* CV & available recent reference checks a must
