Responsibilities
As a Staff Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, procedural and on-call services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, support the education and supervision of junior doctors, and contribute to service improvement, clinical governance, and quality initiatives in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.
Qualifications
* Hold FRANZCOG (or are nearing completion) and are eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA.
* Bring broad clinical expertise across obstetrics, gynaecology, emergency care, procedural practice and surgical services.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, mentoring and supporting junior medical staff within a teaching hospital environment.
* Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives through audit, review and service development activities.
* Thrive in multidisciplinary teams, building respectful relationships and delivering compassionate, woman-centred care.
