We are seeking a dedicated Treasurer to join our Board. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute their skills and experience to a purpose-driven organisation.
About the Role
Our Board plays a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of our services, ensuring sustainability, and making informed decisions that benefit the community.
* The ideal candidate will possess strong financial oversight skills, preferably with CPA qualifications.
* Proven experience working in the not-for-profit sector, particularly with ACNC requirements.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with our experienced bookkeeper/finance officer to maintain strong financial governance.

To be successful in this role, candidates must:
* Hold or be willing to obtain knowledge about the Australian community and volunteer sector.
* Demonstrate a balance between governance and practical operational support.
* Be effective communicators who value collaboration and inclusivity.
* Possess previous board experience, although not essential.
