About the role
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Senior Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join the tight-knit team at Dalby Family Dental in Dalby, QLD. As the primary point of contact for our valued patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our dental practice.
What you'll be doing
1. Welcoming and checking in patients, managing the appointment schedule and ensuring the timely flow of patients through the practice
2. Handling all inbound phone calls, booking appointments, and managing patient records and accounts. Initiating outbound calls to ensure patient care and treatment progression.
3. Using your knowledge and experience to create optimised, smooth flowing days for exceptional patient experience.
4. Assisting dentists chairside as a dental assistant, supporting with clinical procedures as required
5. Maintaining strict standards of sterilisation, infection control and workplace health and safety
6. Contributing to the positive and friendly atmosphere of the practice
What we're looking for
1. At least 3 years' experience working in a dental reception and/or dental assistant role
2. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients of all ages
3. Ability to work autonomously to achieve operational goals
4. Proficiency in dental software systems and strong computer literacy skills
5. A caring, empathetic approach and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
6. A passion for the dental industry and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care
