Warehouse Officer – Greenbushes Lithium Operation
Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Warehouse Officer is responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products. This role ensures accurate inventory control and timely delivery of items within the Supply Department and to other internal departments.
Responsibilities
* Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to designated storage or work locations.
* Review production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping requests to determine stock requirements for movement or distribution.
* Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established sequences such as size, style, color, or product type.
* Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
* Fulfill requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials or other stock items, ensuring timely distribution to departments or individuals.
* Assemble internal customer orders from stock and prepare them for dispatch on pallets or shelves.
* Accurately label materials with identifying information.
* Record quantities of materials or items received and distributed.
* Maintain accurate data entry of goods in and out within the inventory management system.
* Operate forklifts to transport stored items between the warehouse, plant, and other required locations.
* Monitor and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or inventory role.
* Certificate in Warehouse Management (desirable).
* Solid foundation in Mathematics and English, with strong written and numerical proficiency.
* Proven experience in managing and handling warehouse stock items.
* Familiarity with stores clerical and inventory control systems.
* Knowledge of safe storage practices for dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals.
* Understanding of procedures for the disposal of obsolete stock.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
* Proficiency in computerised ordering and inventory management systems.
* Knowledge of inwards goods receivable processes.
* Basic understanding of purchasing systems and related workflows.
