What roles and opportunities are available?

Working in Victorian government schools provides you with the opportunity to be in a range of settings including Primary Schools, Special Schools, Secondary Colleges and more. Opportunities in learning areas such as English, Maths, Science, Technology, Health & Physical Education, the Arts and Textiles, Humanities, Languages and more.

The Applicant Pool is designed to streamline the recruitment process for both applicants and schools:

- A simpler and more efficient way to apply for multiple vacancies in preferred localities.
- Applicants submit their interest once in the Applicant Pool (attaching a Cover Letter and a CV/Resume), saving the time needed to manage multiple applications.
- Applicants will then be matched to a school's vacant teaching position.
- There is no requirement for written responses to selection criteria. Selection criteria will be used to determine suitability as part of the interview stage.
- You'll have the option to deselect schools as required.

To be considered for teaching positions, simply set up your profile in the Applicant Pool via School Jobs Vic. By creating a profile, you will have access to a wide range of teaching roles across Victorian government schools, and your profile will be visible to schools actively recruiting as well as being matched to vacancies posted by schools.

2. Click Apply to join the Applicant Pool : Create your login (if you don't have one already), create your profile, and upload your Cover Letter, CV/Resume, qualifications and preferences.
