Position Overview
The Mobile Screening Officer (MSO) role is a permanent part-time or full-time position, working approximately 4 to 5 weekdays per week, depending on the candidate’s availability. The role includes reimbursement for kilometres travelled, along with a bonus structure to reward the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will work in the field, covering a number of pharmacies and establishing relationships with staff. You will work independently, actively engaging with customers to promote hearing health and generate leads for Bay Audio’s services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively approach and engage potential customers to drive lead generation and promote free hearing assessments.
- Operational Excellence: Complete daily operational processes and develop strategies to increase customer leads and optimise profitability.
- Customer Engagement: Encourage customers in pharmacies to check their hearing health through a free 5-minute touch-screen test.
- Result Interpretation: Explain hearing results and recommend next steps to customers; refer them to a nearby store when appropriate.
- Relationship Building: Build rapport with new customers and strengthen relationships with existing ones.

- Target Achievement: Experience in meeting and exceeding business targets.
- Communication Skills: Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Weekday Availability: Available to work casual retail hours.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel to different store locations for work or training.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods while engaging with customers.
Additional Requirements
Please note that for this role, you will be required to take a Police background check.
