Role Description
This is a full‐time, on‐site Senior Accountant role located in Surry Hills, NSW. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, overseeing daily accounting operations, performing reconciliations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and contributing to business advisory and strategic decision‐making processes. The Senior Accountant will also mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Reconciliations, and Tax Compliance
* Experience with Business Advisory, Strategic Planning, and Client Relationship Management
* Strong skills in Budgeting, Financial Analysis, and Forecasting
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
* Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification preferred
* Experience in any of the industries served by the organisation is advantageous
