We’re currently seeking experienced Plant Operators to join a major Rio Tinto sustaining project in the Pilbara, working on the Hope Downs 1 and 2 expansion.

Roster and Pay
Roster: 3:1
Rate: $50–$65/hr + 11.5% Super | Casual
Roles
Dozers: D6 and D9 (GPS ideally); Borrow Pit, Road and Pad Construction experience
Excavators: 8–30t tracked, 14t wheeled; Trimming Batters, GPS experience
Loaders: CAT 980, IT
Graders: 140, 150
Articulated Haul Trucks, Tippers, Watercarts
Position Details
Location: Hope Downs 1 (HD1) – FIFO from Perth to West Angelas, bus to site
Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off
Hours: 10.5 hour days paid; half day on Mondays (7 hours)
Pay Rate: $50–$65/hr + 11.5% Super on all hours
Project Scope Includes
Construction of camp pads, access roads, service corridors
Detail and bulk earthworks
Borrow pit works, drainage, fencing
Install & maintain temporary fuel/water facilities & EPCM offices
Road maintenance
Requirements
Minimum 12 months of experience in bulk and detailed earthworks and construction on mobile plant machinery, including relevant site experience
Previous FIFO experience in Detailed / Construction Mining
Valid RII tickets for all equipment operated
White card
Australian Drivers License - HR preferred
GPS experience – Trimble or Topcon systems
Rio Tinto Inductions and High G&I; Medical
4WD ticket is an advantage

Weekly pay
10.5 hour days
