Join the Bunji Team
Bunji's mission is to empower all people to live fulfilling and independent lives. We are committed to ensuring that people living with disabilities and their carers are connected to the most effective personalised support they need… and that's where you come in!
Launchpad is Bunji’s School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) program, helping our young adult clients transition from school, connect with employment and soar into life!
Launchpad is focussed on working with clients to develop Individual Employment Plans which help transition them from school to work, focusing on employment outcomes, goals, support needs, and learning requirements, while building confidence and skills to empower them to live their very best lives.
About the role
The SLES Facilitator is a full time, fixed-term position responsible for working with individuals to develop skills, find job opportunities, secure employment, and provide ongoing support as needed under the NDIS and Bunji’s School Leaver Employment Support frameworks.
The role is also responsible for the delivery of Bunji’s Launchpad program and for further developing and driving the SLES framework for the business.
The core responsibilities of the role include:
* Build content which supports development of skills and experiences for young people to support employment readiness and lifestyle independence addressing key elements of group and individual goals and outcomes.
* Facilitate interactive and structured sessions through Launchpad that align with client goals, encouraging skill development and confidence in employment settings.
* Support the development and implementation of tailored employment plans in collaboration with each young person, their family, and relevant stakeholders, supporting progress toward individual employment goals.
* Regularly review progress of participants, provide mentoring, and delivering hands-on support as needed to overcome barriers to employment.
* Provide support to participants of the program for standard personal care, daily living skills, transport, social and other support needs as required.
* Work collaboratively with other workers supporting the SLES program to build meaningful and outcome focussed programs, share resources, provide guidance and feedback and foster a positive team environment.
