About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join our growing team. Working closely with our Allied Health clinicians and broader multidisciplinary team, you will support the delivery of therapeutic programs and assist in providing high-quality care to our patients.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about mental health who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of group-based therapeutic programs
* Assist Allied Health clinicians in day-to-day clinical activities
* Engage with patients in a professional and empathetic manner
* Contribute to a positive, safe, and therapeutic environment
* Complete administrative and documentation tasks as required
Essential Criteria
* Excellent group-work and teamwork skills, with confidence working both collaboratively and autonomously
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
* Passion and enthusiasm for working in mental health
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Competent computer skills
* Experience working with people living with a range of mental health challenges.
Desirable Criteria
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
* Willingness to upskill in psychotherapeutic interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, ACT)
