Overview
Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Animal Physiology to be based at Camperdown or Camden Campus, Faculty of Science.
Full‐time continuing position, Level B ($127,436 - $151,328) or Level C ($156,103 - $179,998) per annum plus 17% superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and coordinate undergraduate teaching in animal physiology and related disciplines.
* Contribute to high‐quality, student‐focused education and research.
* Teach across Camperdown and Camden campuses and support postgraduate training.
* Participate in management and administration, promoting teaching and learning.
* Engage in interdisciplinary research, focusing on physiological management and monitoring of animals in various settings.
* Advise and supervise students, including Honours and Higher Degree by Research projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Lecturer (Level B):
* PhD or equivalent in veterinary/animal physiology or a related animal/veterinary science discipline.
* Research track record of excellence in animal physiology with national and international collaborations and publications.
* Track record of securing research funding.
* Experience teaching animal physiology, including lectures, tutorials and practical supervision.
* Experience supervising Honours and higher research students.
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication and time‐management skills.
* Understanding of relevant work health and safety issues.
* Valid driver's licence.
Senior Lecturer (Level C) (in addition to Level B requirements):
* Demonstrated capacity to establish and lead a research team.
* Experience securing nationally competitive research funding and industry‐linked funding.
* Experience leading curriculum development that enhances student learning.
