Production / Assembly Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Production / Assembly Supervisor to lead our production team at our Notting Hill facility. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working on the floor, leading people, and keeping production running efficiently and safely.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will manage a small team of Production Assistants while also contributing directly to assembly and testing activities.
Hours, Days & Locations:
This role is based at our Notting Hill site and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Standard hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility available where agreed in advance. Start times can be set between 6:30am and 8:00am.
The Role:
As Production / Assembly Supervisor, you will:
* Lead and supervise a team of Production Assistants, building a positive and accountable culture
* Set daily production targets, monitor output, and manage production reporting
* Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Be hands-on with assembly and testing as required
* Ensure all quality, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met
About You:
* Proven experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing or assembly environment
* Strong people leadership and communication skills
* Hands-on manufacturing experience (electronics assembly preferred)
* Experience improving productivity and team efficiency
* Solid computer literacy
Desirable:
* Electronics assembly experience
* Understanding of firmware or software downloading onto products
* Exposure to production planning or scheduling
