**Job Role Overview**
This role supports the Emergency Department by providing assistance with data administration and technical coding for the department. It involves producing and maintaining high-quality data within its information systems, specifically FirstNet within the Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR).
In this position, you will work collaboratively to improve customer service and interpersonal skills while consulting and negotiating with customers both internally and externally.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong working knowledge of data management, including gathering and sourcing information for analysis, assisting with analysis, and producing reports. You should also demonstrate a fundamental understanding of systems utilised within Queensland Health, i.e., ESM, ieMR; computerised tools used in the development of reports, and collation and analysis of information using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and quality improvement skills. They will be able to identify gaps in their skills sets, implement plans to improve them, and seek appropriate interventions and input from others.
