The Marketing Coordinator (MC) is responsible for supporting the Company's sales and marketing activities, relating to the commercialisation of products and broader company initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role has an exciting and expansive impact on the success of our Company.
The role has a significant ownership in 'downstream' promotional, operational, and market development activities. A major focus of this position is to provide in-house expertise in the company's CRM (HubSpot) and Website/Online activities for the commercial team.
The ideal individual for this role will be highly organised, has strong communication skills (written and oral), an enthusiastic attitude, and possess solid knowledge and experience in Marketing. This person will join a small team where every individual counts and effective interactions with the commercialisation team, and the broader organisation, is critical.
Specific Responsibilities
Manage conferences and events (planning, preparation, lead collection, system integration, ROI tracking)
Support the management of marketing budgets, forecasts, and tracking tools associated with commercial activities.
Managing the day-to-day CRM and Website operations (content management, system health, system functionality, etc) to support Marketing and Sales activities.
Content generation and coordination for the marketing team, including new content (e.g. webpages, newsletters, blogs), product presentations, and the supply of online and printed material.
Support the Implementation of marketing campaigns, monitor team KPIs and objectives, in-person event logistics, and content. Coordinate product marketing, and public relations activities to build brand and product awareness.
Support the company's commercialisation activities and processes, including cross functional (including sales and marketing) operations required to drive the timely global rollout of our products and services.
Coordinate internal management of key commercial agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, marketing and sponsorship agreements, and supplier/vendor contracts (for commercialisation activities).
Who we're looking for
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical, medical or scientific industry.
Basic understanding of scientific and medical industry practices and terminology is required.
General awareness of scientific and medical industry practices and terminology is sufficient for this position.
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, content management systems, social media, email marketing, and analytics.
Keen eye for detail and a creative flair to produce high-quality marketing assets.
Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related field is highly desirable.
