Maven Dental Cairns City is looking for a Full-time Receptionist to join our busy, modern practice in the heart of Cairns.
Working in our well-established 6-chair clinic, you'll enjoy a fast-paced, supportive environment where no two days are the same. With a general anaesthetic facility operating weekly, this is a great opportunity to broaden your experience and grow your dental career in a dynamic setting.
We're looking for someone who brings:
* At least 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist
* Experience with D4W software (highly regarded)
* Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and passion for delivering a great patient experience
Open to full-time, part-time, or casual employment, with the option to work additional hours as required.
Job Description
As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be the friendly face of the practice and play a key role in keeping our front desk running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
* Greeting and assisting patients with a warm, professional approach
* Managing appointments and maintaining an organised, efficient schedule
* Accurately maintaining patient records with a strong focus on confidentiality
* Liaising with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
* Handling patient enquiries both in person and over the phone
From welcoming patients to coordinating their care, this role is central to delivering a positive patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of the practice.
Additionally, there will be opportunities to support the clinical team with dental assisting tasks on an ad hoc basis as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) in a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist position
* A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous)
* Familiarity with D4W software and confidence using Microsoft Office
* Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
* High attention to detail with accurate data entry and record management
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
