Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Personal Care Assistant to provide home and community care services to our clients. This role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Offering social support and transportation, such as accompanying clients to social activities, shopping/groceries and medical appointments
* Assisting clients in the use of aids, including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting on their progress
* Attending staff meetings and participating in training as required
Requirements:
* Experience in personal care or a related field
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
