Job Description
Recruitment Innovations Pty Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Panel Beater to join our team in Seymour VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
* Remove damaged panels and parts, and remove upholstery and accessories to gain access
* Remove dents by hammering panels
* Straighten damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
* Replace badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels
* Fill depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces
* Cut and join replacement sections using welding equipment
* Fit repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refit body hardware such as door locks and trims
* Assist vehicle body builders in constructing and restoring custom-designed, vintage and other specialty vehicles
* Assist spray-paint vehicles
Skills & Abilities:
* Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent
* Ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Panel Beater
* A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
* The ability to work in a team environment
