About the Role
We are currently seeking a versatile and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day financial administration of our operations. This is a broad, hands-on role responsible for managing accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting.
As the go-to person for all things finance and administration, you'll manage our dedicated admin team and take ownership of accounting functions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable
* Lead daily and monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations
* Manage petty cash, credit card, and cash flow records
* Coordinate and review payroll processes (not processing)
* Generate and verify invoices, statements, and receipts
* Resolve account queries and support collections
* Provide support for financial reports and internal audits
* Ensure filing systems and financial records meet compliance standards
What We're Looking For
* Strong bookkeeping and financial administration experience
* 5+ years' experience in accounts, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
* Formal qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance (Cert IV or above)
* Solid understanding of reconciliations, credit control, and ledgers
* Confident with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
* High level of accuracy, time management, and problem-solving
* Great communication skills and ability to lead by example
