Rayner Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Hobart, TAS. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of our logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of our company.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and schedule the movement of goods, materials, and resources across our distribution network
* Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and collection of goods
* Monitor and track shipments, providing regular status updates and resolving any issues that arise
* Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to meet customer demands
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement more efficient logistics solutions
* Provide administrative support, including generating reports and maintaining relevant documentation
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within the warehousing, storage, and distribution industry
* Strong understanding of logistics principles, supply chain management, and transportation operations
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Proficient in using logistics-related software, such as inventory management systems and tracking tools
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
* Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work well under pressure
