ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Solid Plastering professional to join our team as a Trainer & Assessor for the Certificate III in Solid Plastering (CPC31020) on a part-time basis.
This position guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week (equivalent to 2 full working days), with flexibility required to be available on any two days between Monday and Friday. Possibility for full time work depending on the right candidate.
This position is ideal for a qualified tradesperson who is enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to share their knowledge and skills with the next generation of plasterers. You will deliver both theory and hands-on training in our trade workshop, helping students build strong practical and industry-ready skills.
Key Responsibilities
 * Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering
 * Plan and conduct practical simulation-based activities, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and safe practices
 * Develop and implement training plans and assessment tools in line with qualification requirements and industry standards
 * Assess learners' skills through practical and theory-based assessments (formative and summative)
 * Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to students in a positive and inclusive learning environment
 * Stay current with solid plastering industry trends and integrate them into your teaching
 * Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in the Learning Management System
About You
 * Hold a Certificate III in Solid Plastering (CPC31020 or equivalent)
 * Hold or be willing to obtain a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (we will cover the cost for the right candidate)
 * Have at least 3 years of recent solid plastering industry experience
 * Are well-presented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills
 * Have strong presentation skills, a professional work ethic, and the ability to engage students in both theory and practice
 * Can manage your time effectively, meet deadlines, and work accurately under pressure
 * Knowledge of AQTF, ASQA Requirements - Able to provide Trainer & Assessor Matrix, VET & Industry Currency Evidence.
 * A hands-on attitude to delivering the best solutions for training.
 * Sound level computer literacy and previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel Excellent interpersonal skills High level of written and oral communication skills Eligibility to work in Australia.
