As Finance Director, you will join the executive leadership team and play a key role in driving financial performance, managing risk, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This is a high-impact role for a commercially astute finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all core financial functions, including financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and risk management
* Build and refine financial models to guide strategic decision-making and assess business performance
* Oversee budgeting, capital management, and funding strategiesEnsure full compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting obligations
* Act as a key advisor to the CEO and board on financial performance, capital strategy, and risk
* Partner with internal stakeholders and external parties, including investors, auditors, and lenders
* Improve financial systems, processes, and controls to support scale and efficiency
* Support M&A, funding rounds, and other corporate development initiatives where required
What You Bring
* CA / CPA qualified with 10+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally within financial services
* Experience in lending, fintech, or asset-backed finance environments is highly desirable
* Strong grasp of credit risk, capital structuring, and financial regulation
* Proven ability to manage finance functions in high-growth or scaling organisations
* Commercially savvy with strong business partnering and leadership skills
* Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels
* Experience working with private equity or investor-backed businesses is a strong advantage
