ASIC is seeking a full time Physical Security Analyst to join their Protective Security Team.

The team
The Chief Risk Office is the custodian of enterprise risk management, business resilience, protective security, and compliance management across ASIC.
The ASIC Protective Security team focuses on ensuring that the Agency's security governance, information, personnel and physical security arrangements are effective and meet the requirements of the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework.
The Protective Security team is also responsible for ASIC's Baseline security clearance vetting program, security investigations, access control at all ASIC sites, plus working closely with ASIC's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to provide a holistic approach to Agency security.
The role
**As a Physical Security Analyst, you will be required to**:
- Support ASIC's physical security operations nationally, including managing our National Monitoring Centre.
- Conduct security risk assessments of ASIC sites and infrastructure to ensure the timely and effective implementation of security controls.
- Provide advice and support to ASIC stakeholders on physical security design, technology and technical requirements.
- Advise on information security requirements including the management and handling of classified information.
- Work under limited direction to implement Physical security projects.
- Manage and maintain a physical security stock take and audit register.
- Respond to and triage security related incidents.
- Review and update standard operating procedures and site security guidelines.
- Undertake Protective Security quality assurance activities.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities for the Protective Security team, including procurement, contract administration and record management.
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining a professional security culture within the organisation and compliance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework.
About you
- Relevant qualifications or experience (3~5 years) in Physical security.
- A high standard of IT literacy, including experience with data handling and reporting.
- The ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills including the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently to strict timeframes while meeting an appropriate standard of work.
