Program Manager - MERIT
The MERIT program is a critical component of NSW Health's service delivery, requiring effective leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
* As the Program Manager, you will lead the coordination of the MERIT program, aligning it with NSW Health standards and guidelines.
* You will manage a multidisciplinary team structure, supporting sustainable and cost-effective service delivery.
* This role includes providing operational leadership, including recruitment, onboarding, professional development, WHS, staff wellbeing, rostering, and industrial matters.
* You will promote high-quality, evidence-based care and innovative service delivery across the MERIT team.
* Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships is crucial, including regular communication with Magistrates and Local Courts.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to Alcohol and Other Drugs service delivery, such as psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or related fields are essential.
* Clinical and management experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs is required.
* High-level interpersonal skills and written communication skills are necessary, enabling you to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively communicate with health professionals.
* Analysis of complex issues and data, synthesizing this information to contribute to strategic planning, is a key skill.
* Comprehensive knowledge of current Alcohol and Other Drugs policies, procedures, and treatment approaches, particularly those relevant to the MERIT program, is necessary.
