Job Title – SAP PM - Plant Maintenance
Job Location – Melbourne
Experience – 10 to 20 Years

Responsibilities
* Lead end to end architecture for SAP S/4HANA across modules including EAM, MM, FI/CO, RE FX, B NAC, JVA, Ariba P2P, IS U, and HR/Payroll.
* Architect Utilities specific EAM capabilities, including:
* o Linear asset management (poles, towers, lines, substations).
* o Asset hierarchy modeling for T&D networks.
* o Regulatory compliance (e.g., inspections, maintenance standards).
* o Spatial/GIS integrations (e.g., ESRI, GE Smallworld).
* Design Real Estate solutions for utilities including land parcels, easements, leases, corridor management, and compliance requirements.
* Create architectural roadmaps, integration frameworks, and future state blueprints aligned to Utilities T&D operations.
* Assess existing asset model, identify issues/opportunities and develop a target state architecture/data model and business processes.
* Ensure solution compliance with safety, regulatory (AER, energy regulators), and audit requirements.
* SAP Implementation & Delivery: Lead SAP S/4HANA and utilities transformation programs covering EAM, P2P, Finance, and RE FX.
* Oversee all phases of design, configuration, testing, migration, and deployment.
* Drive asset data quality uplift programs, including asset cleansing, hierarchy redesign, lifecycle standardization, and governance models.
* Manage integration across field mobility, GIS, SCADA, and T&D network asset systems.
* Ensure high solution reliability to support critical Transmission & Distribution operations.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage with Operations, Asset Management, Field Services, Network Planning, Property/Real Estate, Procurement, and Finance teams.
* Facilitate workshops, design reviews, end to end process mapping, and future state modelling.
* Act as the enterprise advisor for SAP-enabled T&D business transformation.
* Oversee integration of SAP with Utilities operational systems, including:
* o GIS (ESRI, Smallworld)
* o SCADA
* o Outage & Work Management systems
* o Field mobility platforms including SAP SAM, FSM
* o B NAC, Ariba, RE FX
* Ensure robust data alignment between network assets, financial assets, spatial data, and property/land records.
* Drive compliance with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure standards.
* Identify opportunities for enhanced asset reliability, inspection cycles, vegetation management, and field service efficiency using SAP EAM and S/4 innovations.
* Leverage automation, analytics, and digital tools (IoT, AI/ML, predictive maintenance).
* Provide strategic recommendations for continuous system uplift and digital utility transformation.

* • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration.
* • Deep functional knowledge of:
* o SAP EAM for Utilities (T&D) including linear asset management.
* o Asset Master Data Governance, lifecycle processes, and data quality.
* o RE FX for Utilities (land management, easements, leases, corridor agreements).
* o SAP B NAC, Ariba P2P, Joint Venture Accounting.
* o T&D operational processes (maintenance, inspections, outages, network operations).
* o Asset data reporting, analytics and insights
* o SAP APM (Asset Performance Management)
* • Experience integrating SAP with GIS, SCADA, WMS, and field mobility.
* • Strong understanding of procurement, finance, and utilities regulatory requirements.
* Professional Skills

* • Excellent stakeholder management across diverse Utilities environments.
* • Ability to lead cross functional teams and influence senior decision makers.
* Experience
* • 18+ years SAP experience including architecture and design roles specially on utilities domain.
* • Multiple end to end implementations in Utilities (preferably Transmission & Distribution).
* • Proven experience in asset-intensive SAP landscapes supporting 24x7 operations.
* • SAP S/4HANA EAM data model, implementation experience in S/4HANA EAM, UX solutions, enablement of AI, SAP APM
* • Expertise in leading discovery sessions, conceptualising solutions options, decisions, solution architecture development, business case development and overall end-to-end execution including value realisation.
* • Education & Certifications
* • Bachelor\'s or Master's in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* • SAP certifications in S/4HANA, EAM, or related modules preferred.
* Preferred Qualifications
* • Utilities industry certifications or project experience (T&D networks).
* • Exposure to IoT, predictive maintenance, or digital network operations.
* • Quality and scalability of SAP architecture supporting Utilities T&D operations.
* • Improved asset data integrity and lifecycle reporting.
* • Reduction in outage/maintenance process inefficiencies.
* • Successful delivery of SAP initiatives on-time and within budget.
* • High stakeholder satisfaction and operational adoption.
