Are you looking to join a business where you can make a difference, constantly be challenged and supported to grow?
We are looking for an Accounts Payable superstar to join our finance team. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, loves complex reconciliations, enjoys loads of interaction with the TR team and customers helping to sort things out, make our processes flow smoother and leave people feeling delighted having spent time with them.
Its way more than simply banging in invoices into the computer for payment!
A typical week could look something like;
* Overseeing the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
* Coordinating weekly and monthly payment runs in line with company policies and cash flow requirements.
* Managing supplier master data, including onboarding new vendors and ensuring data integrity.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for supplier queries, resolving issues in a timely professional and friendly manner.
* Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support – we work collaboratively with our suppliers vs. demanding from them
* Making sure we are on top of our reconciliation of supplier statements - timely and accurate.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the AP ledger.
* Act as the subject matter expert for accounts payable and payment platforms.
* Providing guidance and support to the TR team to optimise use of systems.
* Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting capability.
* Continuously review accounts payable processes to identify efficiencies, cost savings, and risk reduction opportunities.
* Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve the overall payable's function.
* Support, mentor, and develop team members
We are looking for someone with experience around the following:
* A track record of successful Accounts Payable experience (greater than five years)
* An eye for detail and accuracy
* Loves working within a team.
* Experience with Microsoft D365 and Exflow would be advantageous
