Specialised Pavement Services Pty Ltd is the Largest Provider of Road Suction Sweeping Equipment and Services in Australia.
We are presently seeking Sweeper Operators with MR/HR truck licence to fulfill our service obligations based in the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
The sweeping maintenance will be conducted throughout the whole of the Mornington Peninsula and South East Melbourne region, which includes but not limited to specified road networks, infrastructure and commercial projects for Local and State Governments and the private sector.
Along with performing your role to the highest level of safety and quality, you will be responsible for routine and daily checks of your vehicle in harmony with all National Heavy Vehicle Laws and company regulations.
Plant to be operated includes Hino Macdonald Johnston range of road sweepers with a maximum fleet age of 2 years.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable and flexible with regard to working hours. This role requires a clean bill of health and good fitness as there is a requirement for some manual labour operating leaf blower/rake etc. You will be required to undergo a full medical check. An industry (Work Cover) White/Blue card for construction is required.
This role also requires the potential candidate to be available for night and early morning shifts to meet contract requirements.
While previous experience is an advantage, we are prepared to train candidates who display the right qualities or those who can demonstrate previous experience operating similar plant and equipment.
