About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of multiple concurrent residential construction projects from contract award through to completion.
Based out of our Hawthorn office and active across inner-city sites, this is a client-facing role where you’ll take ownership of the commercial, contractual and programme performance of your assigned projects. You’ll act as the key interface between clients, site supervisors, consultants and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to Y Projects’ high standards of quality.
This role suits a PM who values structure, clarity and accountability — and enjoys running projects with autonomy and confidence.
What You'll Be Doing
* Acting as the primary point of contact for clients during construction
* Managing programme, budget, variations and cost-to-complete forecasting
* Coordinating site teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
* Preparing scopes of works, tender packages and administering subcontracts
* Managing RFIs, shop drawings and design clarifications to protect design intent
* Issuing progress claims and administering contract correspondence
* Identifying and resolving programme, commercial and coordination risks
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Project Manager (or PM / CA) in residential construction
* Experience delivering architecturally designed homes, ideally inner-city renovations or extensions
* Strong understanding of domestic building contracts and post-contract admin
* Solid construction knowledge and programme management skills
* Clear, confident communicator who can manage clients and consultants
* Detail-oriented, commercially aware and proactive
