Overview
Full Time Bakery Assistant – Gisborne location at Williamson's FoodWorks. This is a Permanent Full Time position, 38 hours per week, with most weeks on a standard roster once fully trained. Ability to start at 5am and Friday and Saturday availability is essential.
Responsibilities
* Par-baking bread, rolls and other bakery items, preparing products for baking
* Assisting with stock control
* General cleaning duties
* Customer service
* Ability to work in a rapid paced environment and meet critical deadlines
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous Baking experience (essential)
* Previous Supermarket experience (beneficial but not essential)
* Excellent organisational & time management skills
* Able to work effectively as part of a team and also under minimal supervision as required
* Attention to detail and problem solving ability
* Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with staff and customers
* Be physically capable of being on your feet for long periods
* Be a team player who is flexible and adaptable to change
* Basic to intermediate computing skills
