We're looking for a Pastry Chef or experienced Baker to join The Wholefood Bakery, where we take pride in making everything from scratch using quality ingredients.
About the Role
You'll be part of a small, skilled team producing a wide range of baked goods, including:
Pies
Sausage rolls
Pasties
Quiches
Hot cross buns (seasonal)
…plus other specialty items throughout the year.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Preparing and baking pastries and savoury items to a high standard.
* Maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation across all products.
* Working efficiently in a busy production environment.
* Keeping a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
Work Schedule:
* Monday to Friday only – no weekends or public holidays
* Early morning starts, finishing early afternoon.
What We're Looking For
* Previous pastry or bakery experience (commercial or artisan).
* A great attitude and attention to detail.
* Reliability and time management — early starts are part of the job.
* A passion for baking and pride in your work.
Formal qualifications are an advantage but not essential — experience and enthusiasm matter most.
