What You'll Be Doing
In this role you will provide high level frontline administrative and communication support to the Emergency Departments, ensuring accurate patient information and smooth operational flow.
* Register and update patient details in iPMs and FirstNet systems
* Prepare admission documentation in line with legislation and policy
* Manage cash handling, receipting and reconciliation responsibilities
* Liaise with clinical teams, management and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate health care records and support switchboard services as required

* Extensive experience in an administrative role, with demonstrated experience in exceptional customer service skills the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Demonstrated superior verbal, written, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills and effective communication with all levels of a large organisation.
* Demonstrated organisational skills with proven ability in accuracy, initiative and flexibility.
* Demonstrated knowledge and competency in the use of IT applications including Microsoft Office and data information skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and actively participate within a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to multitask and handle unexpected matters when they arise in a professional & courteous manner
* Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
