Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, resolving IT issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians as needed.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment.
* Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
* Manage and maintain IT support ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
* Monitor IT systems and infrastructure, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
* Assist in the procurement and deployment of IT equipment and software.
* Develop and maintain IT support documentation, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
* Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in an IT support role, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
* Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
* Experience with IT support ticketing systems and knowledge base management.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
