Seeking an accomplished Solutions Architect to lead the design, development and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective and sustainable integrated solutions.
* This is a key role within our organization, responsible for providing strategic advice and recommendations to stakeholders, driving innovative architectures that enable our digital future.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, with a minimum of 6 years' professional experience in IT, including at least three years in a solution architecture role. They will also possess effective solution architecture and system design skills, as well as experience developing security, integration patterns, designs and requirements in a hybrid and cloud-centric environment.
We are looking for someone who can develop systems architectures in specific business or functional areas, using appropriate tools and frameworks, including logical models of components and interfaces. The ability to produce detailed component specifications and translate these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products is essential.
A strong understanding of industry-recognized architectural frameworks, such as TOGAF, is also required, as well as experience with iPaaS, API Gateways, ETL, ESB and related technologies. Strong knowledge of cyber security industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to education institutions is necessary.
The successful candidate will be able to build collaborative relationships with IT stakeholders, suppliers and teams in the divisions and faculties, to understand and effectively translate diverse business needs into sustainable IT solutions. A well-developed appreciation of the relationship between solution architecture and enterprise architecture is also essential.
