Job Summary:
We seek a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to support the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to exciting projects.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed sketches, drawings, and tabulations for civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
2. Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data from construction sites to provide critical insights and assist Civil Engineers in decision-making.
3. Assist with inspections, organization, and supervision of civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
4. Support the estimation of quantities and costs for materials and labor, contributing to accurate project budgets and resource plans.
5. Monitor and document construction progress, preparing regular reports to track project milestones and identify potential issues or delays.
6. Collaborate with project teams and contractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- At least hold a Certificate IV in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A degree in accounting is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with preference given to those with construction industry experience.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferable.
