Heidelberg Materials Australia is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Agitator Drivers for both casual and permanent positions across multiple locations. Whether you're looking for the flexibility of casual work or the stability of a full-time role, we have opportunities to suit your lifestyle. As an Agitator Driver, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality concrete to our customers while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service. Our permanent casual and full-time roles typically operate Monday to Friday, with the option to work Saturdays for additional hours. Hours: These are full-time positions working Monday - Saturday and most rostered days will start between 4-6am. Pay: We pay a base hourly rate can range from $31.03 - $32.57 on a weekly pay cycle, pending location placement. Overtime kicks in at time and a half after 8 hours, and double time and meal allowance after 10 hours in a day. Technology: We provide cutting-edge technology to keep you safe, help you map your routes, and track your loads. Training: All new hires go through a 10-day training program with our experienced driver trainers before hitting the road solo. All necessary company uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE), including a brand-new pair of steel cap boots after six months of service. About You: Licence: You must have a minimum of a Heavy Rigid license. Previous Agitator Driver experience is preferred not essential. White Card: You will have a current valid Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one before you start. Must be able to engage with a diverse range of customers and team members daily, delivering excellent service and building strong working relationships. Variety: You prefer variety in your work. No two days are the same when you’re driving one of our Agi trucks. Pride in Your Ride: You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keeping it clean and presentable is important—you are a mobile billboard for our company. Medical Check: Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites). Safety: Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may need to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
