Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to drive organisational culture and workforce capability in our organisation.
The ideal candidate will lead the development, delivery and implementation of human resources frameworks, ensuring best practice in human resources, industrial relations, and work health and safety advice across the organisation.
This role offers the opportunity to shape organisational culture and drive strategic human resources initiatives, leveraging data and evidence for decision-making.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver human resources strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to strengthen organisational capability, capacity, and culture.
* Provide high-quality service delivery through recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
* Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
* Significant experience as a leader within Human Resources and Organisational Development.
* Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and regulations, and thorough knowledge of human resource management and industrial relations principles and best practices.
* Significant experience in developing and delivering Work Health and Safety (WHS) strategies and plans.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience of current strategic trends and issues affecting the core functions of the role, ideally within a local government context.
* Experience dealing with complex, cross-organisational matters and leveraging data/information as evidence for decision-making.
