About Uniting Goonellabah
Conveniently located in the beautiful Goonellabah township, with four separate households, each with up to 20 residents. Your Uniting Homemaker role helps ensure the community is thriving and residents are engaged in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
Position Overview
As a Care Worker in Hotel Services, you'll play a key role in supporting independence, dignity, and comfort by providing essential services in catering to create a positive and enriching daily experience for our residents. Contribute to enhancing resident wellbeing through nutritious meals and supportive care.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification (Preferred, not mandatory).
* Minimum 3 months experience in hospitality or food services (catering, cooking or kitchenhand roles). Training will be provided, but a good understanding of the basics is needed.
* Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality, nutritious meals.
* Previous experience in community care or aged care is a bonus.
* Empathetic, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
